Delete your Wortkessel account

Delete in the app

Open Wortkessel, go to Profile and tap Delete Account. Confirm the request twice. The app sends an authenticated deletion request and signs you out when it succeeds.

Request deletion outside the app

Email us from the address used for your Wortkessel account. We may send a verification message to that address before processing the request so another person cannot delete your account without permission.

What is deleted

We remove authentication methods, active sessions, registered devices, learning progress, settings, review and test scores, custom dictionary data, submissions and reports. The remaining account record is anonymised and no longer contains your original name, email address or profile image.

Payment, accounting, security or dispute records may be retained where required by law or needed for refunds and fraud prevention, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Deleting a Wortkessel account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel recurring billing separately in the relevant store account.
