Last updated: 15 August 2026

Russian: Terms of Use. German: AGB. The German version prevails if the translations differ.

1. Provider and scope

These terms govern use of the Wortkessel mobile app, web app and related services. Provider: Aleksandra Voronovskaia, Rintheimer Hauptstraße 44, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany.

2. Account

An account may be required for synchronisation, web access and subscriptions. You may use a pseudonym, but you must provide a working email address for access recovery and technical notices. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials.

3. Free and paid features

Some Wortkessel features may be free and others may require a subscription or trial. The price, billing period, included features and renewal terms are displayed before purchase.

4. Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

Web subscriptions are provided through Polar. Mobile subscriptions may be provided through Apple App Store or Google Play. A subscription normally renews automatically until cancelled.

Web subscriptions can be managed through your account, the payment provider's customer portal or support. Apple and Google subscriptions must be managed through the relevant app store. Access normally remains available until the end of the paid period after cancellation.

Web-purchase refunds are handled through support and the payment provider. App Store and Google Play refunds are handled under Apple or Google rules.

5. EU consumer withdrawal rights

If you are an EU consumer, you may have a 14-day withdrawal right. For digital content and services, this right can be limited or lost when you expressly request immediate performance before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledge the consequences. The applicable provider shows the specific terms during purchase.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, bypass payment, overload the API, automate content extraction outside the app, interfere with server operation or use Wortkessel unlawfully.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service stable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features, dictionary content, audio and learning modes may change for product development, security or technical maintenance.

8. Liability

Liability remains unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and other cases where limitation is prohibited by law. In other cases, liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Applicable law and contact

German law applies without removing mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence. For questions about these terms, a subscription or an account, email alex.kavar@gmail.com or contact support.
