How do I reset my progress?
Open Profile → Settings → Reset progress. This removes your learning history while keeping your word sets.
How do I add my own word?
Open Dictionary and tap “+ Word” in the top-right corner. Enter the German word and translation, then choose its article.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. The bundled dictionary, learning progress and practice modes work offline. An internet connection is needed for account sync, purchases and downloadable content.
Why does the dictionary contain 7,000+ words and phrases?
Wortkessel is a focused learning tool rather than an exhaustive German dictionary. It prioritises frequent words, useful phrases, clear topics, audio, examples and spaced review so learners can build a practical foundation towards B1–B2.
How do I change the theme?
Open Profile → Settings → Theme. You can choose light, dark or automatic mode.
